Chevrolet Showcases e-Spark (Electric) At The Auto expo!
2010 Delhi Auto Expo, Cars, Hatches & SUVs January 6th, 2010
All the electric cars in India are literally useless! GM just made a great move by introducing the electric Spark, which will be Indias first 4 door passenger electric vehicle. On the other side, Hyundai unveiled the electric version of its i10 model also, but will definitely be more expensive than the e-spark. Electric vehicles is one of the next alternative fuel for cars.
The e-Spark is made possible with the collaboration of GM India with Reva! The e-spark will be equipped with consumer friendly features. It will be the same Chevrolet Spark but will be powered bt the RECC EV powertrain. The e-Spark will change the view of electric cars in India and will set a standard.

The e-Spark will come with an automatic drive which makes it easier to drive within the city without the use of a clutch. The Electric Motor provides 100% toque as soon as the accelerator pedal is pressed. It will have an option of a Regular Drive Mode and a Boost Mode.
The e-Spark will have proper safety standards and will be a safe and trouble free vehicle. The Economy rate is yet to be announced but it is expected to be impressive. The Regenerative Braking system charges the battery system every time the brakes are applied.
The e-Spark will be launched in India shortly after the testings are done and arrangements are made to make it possible for GM to launch an electric vehicle.
