Making the worlds cheapest car, was a totally big task and so was getting decent reviews out of it. Now making an electric version of the worlds cheapest car is a very bright idea indeed. Tata Motors Nano EV made its debut at the 80th Geneva Motor show and we are definitely proud. EVs is now conisdered the future of the automobiles.

Tata had the advantage of having the worlds cheapest car, making it easier to price the Nano EV between an affordable bracket. The Nano EV is not going to be a stunner in a drag race, but does promise to get it from 0-60 kmph in under 10 secs. But whats more into this car is the fact that it can drag upto a range of 150 kilometers.

Yes, with a range of 150 kilometers (94 miles), the Tata Nano EV is worth waiting for. The Tata Nano EV will comfortably seat 4 adults and will be coming in super polymer lithium ion batteries. The max engine output is going to be 54 bhp (40KW) and max torque will be 115Nm.

The top speed of the Tata Nano EV will be 110 kmph, which is very impressive and will have a transmission 1 speed FWD. The CO2 emission is only going to be 10.5 g/km for electricity generated (in France). The Nano EV is also said to come with airbags on the driver and passenger side.

We have no clue when the Nano EV will reach the Indian shores, but it is definitely going to be only after 2 years, after its launch in the European market. Well, on the other hand, we might be getting the Indica Vista EV earlier than the Nano EV.
